About the product
The mask is designed to care for skin prone to greasiness and flaking; it is recommended if the scalp gets greasy quickly, in the event of excessive greasiness of the skin, and a tendency to “blockage” of hair follicles.
The scalp has a large number of sebaceous glands and often features a high level of sebum secretion, which causes discomfort. Excessive sebum secretion increases the rate of exfoliation of keratinized skin scales, and the secretion of sebaceous and sweat glands on the skin and hair creates favorable conditions for the multiplication of pathogenic microorganisms. You may be bothered by itching, or dandruff may appear. Scratching leads to traumatization of the skin and violation of the protective skin barrier, which increases inflammation and leads to the appearance of scabs.
The barrier function of the skin is performed by the stratum corneum, water-lipid mantle and fatty acids, the composition of which changes during inflammatory processes. Healthy skin has a certain microbiome (normally quite stable in composition) and is resistant to the adverse effects of various microorganisms. But as soon as there is a violation of the integrity of the barrier function of the skin, there is a violation of the normal ratio of microorganisms and the development of pathogenic microflora. It often leads to an increase in hair loss and thinning of hair.
To solve problems associated with excessive multiplication of pathogenic microorganisms in conditions of increased sebum secretion, as well as to prevent the emergence of these problems, regular use of specialized modern products for the scalp is recommended.
The formulation of the ETA Intensive Cleansing Mask for Oily Skin offers several original solutions to problems characteristic to oily skin. The mask contains laurel and black cumin oils, which are rich in organic and fatty acids, phytosterols and phospholipids that restore the quality of sebum secretion. These oils have regenerating, antifungal and antimicrobial effects.
Zinc PKC (zinc salt of pyrrolidone carboxylic acid) blocks the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, thereby preventing excessive secretion of fat by the sebaceous glands, and eliminating the appearance of dandruff. Reducing the activity of 5-alpha-reductase prevents hair loss and hair thinning associated with the negative effect on the hair follicle DHT (dihydrotestosterone) – the active metabolite of testosterone. It has astringent and antimicrobial properties.
The mask contains propanediol caprylate, an all-natural ingredient that has proven efficacy in eliminating dandruff. An active detoxifying complex based on citrus bioflavonoids, aloe and broccoli sulforaphane helps to eliminate chemical contaminants, cleanses the skin of keratinized scales, and features pronounced antioxidant properties.
Haematococcus Pluvialis microalgae extract contains a high concentration of the antioxidant astaxanthin, which effectively soothes irritated skin and suppresses inflammation.
Papaya extract (papain) is widely known for its proteolytic and keratolytic properties, thanks to which hyperkeratosis is eliminated and sebum is cleared.
MSM (dimethyl sulfone) – is an organic form of sulfur, characteristic of living organisms. It effectively strengthens hair, accelerates skin regeneration, has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects, and fights pustular rashes.
The combination of essential oils of thyme, lavender, rosemary and cedar in placebo-controlled studies has shown the effect of stimulating hair growth even in autoimmune type of hair loss.
Extracts of the medicinal mushrooms Reishi, Chaga and Cordyceps have a complex healing effect, their influence on immunity and their ability to suppress inflammation can hardly be overestimated.
The mask contains a high concentration of bioavailable fermented saccharomycetes trace elements – zinc, copper, magnesium, iron, silicon, as well as a complex of vitamins and amino acids.

*Apply the required amount of cleansing mask on dry or wet scalp, spread with gentle massage movements. Leave for 20 – 30 min. If well tolerated, you can increase the exposure time to 1 – 2 hours. Wash off with shampoo, if necessary use conditioner, mask, cream-serum for hair shafts. The cleansing mask can be used from 1 – 3 times a week before washing the head. The duration of exposure to the cleansing mask and the frequency of application can be changed by a specialist, depending on the condition of the scalp.
In the event of undesirable reaction to the product, reduce the frequency of application or cancel it.
Before the first application it is recommended to conduct an allergy test: apply a small amount of the product on the skin on the inside of the elbow.

FAQ
The mask is primarily applied to the scalp, but can also be applied to the hair if the hair is dry.
It is better to rinse the mask with shampoo. Therefore, apply it before washing your hair.
We recommend sticking to the instructions. But there are practical observations from people who have kept the mask on for several hours without any harmful effects.
If you have a chronic condition or psoriasis, apply the mask in a maintenance mode, but at least once a week. The mask does not have a withdrawal syndrome, but the symptoms of a chronic condition may gradually return.
